Redtail catfish

About 24" long in a 750 gallon tank. I just moved him in there a few days ago and he seemed to be doing fine. Now I'm noticing a small redness at the base of one main barbel and the base in front of his dorsal fin. Should I be concerned? Water temp is 80 F and all parameters check out
