nope i never fed it feeders, it arrived in good condition so i just put chopped whitebait in the tank for the other fish and after 1 week it started to take it.
i was lucky i guess.

my payara just attacked krill!
but he chewed it up and spat it out then my aro ate it.
tats grow really slow.
mines grown maybe 2 inches and ive had him for around 4 mths or so.
he could stay in your 150 for very long.
but will probably need bigger.
