Hi RTK-

I've received a couple of PM's from people aside from myself who have pre-ordered some fish with you. I'm not sure why or how I was chosen to be the spokesman for the buyers but here I am.

I have passed along the information you gave me two Fridays ago that you were expecting to have the order ready in two weeks or I could expect a refund. I'm assuming this applies to everybody. Now that Friday is only four days away I figured you would know by now if things were going to come in or not or if the order was going to fall through.

I'm still hoping to do business with you, so there is no hard feelings here on the wait until Friday. I am only posting this thread because my last PM to you has gone unanswered and you have been on MFK since then. Just looking for an update for everybody.

My specific order costed $82.50 upfront - which, having just bought and moved into a house, I could put to greater use than waiting on fish for weeks and months.

Go to aquatics worlds and you will get better support, unfortantly on here, he has been unable to post any new postings because of certain "new Rules" and random threads getting deleted without reason that were put in place by certain venders trying to control the market, redtailed king and mnstingray now do more buisness over there

Yes, but he has still been posting around the forums here on MFK and still has access to his PM inbox. I'm not going to hunt him down on another forum that you are plugging when we have been conducting our business here privately up until now.

Just to clear the air a bit as there appears to be some misunderstandings.

This site and all of the MAN network is free for public use. That means that every dollar that is spent is coming directly out of the owners pocket. Why should he have to pay for our fun? These "rules" that you so easily bash were implemented to ease the financial burden of owning and operating these sites. For the amount of money that is made on this site by vendors, the fee is but a drop in the bucket. Why is it such a "no-no' to ask people to pitch in? Would you rather have a membership fee like other sites?

As for the monopolies, if you want to be a vendor, you must do one of two things; pay the fee and remain reputable. If you do not do those two things, you cannot be a vendor. Both members you mentioned had those opportunities and did not come through. Before the secondary argument is made, there is a big difference between for-profit sales and hobbyist selling excess fish. Both persons you mentioned, were doing sales for profit.

I see that a lot of people are viewing this thread.

If it's because you have also paid some upfront money with RTK, please say so. Everyone involved should speak their mind. If you've talked to him recently, give me an update.

If you're not involved and the thread title is just catching your eye, please understand that I am not here to call RTK a ripper or a bad business man. I told him multiple times that he had my support in his prior quest to become a vendor here. Why that didn't pan out doesn't matter to me. I am still fully expecting to get my fish or my money back, as he assured me many times would be the case.
