Just to clear the air a bit as there appears to be some misunderstandings.

This site and all of the MAN network is free for public use. That means that every dollar that is spent is coming directly out of the owners pocket. Why should he have to pay for our fun? These "rules" that you so easily bash were implemented to ease the financial burden of owning and operating these sites. For the amount of money that is made on this site by vendors, the fee is but a drop in the bucket. Why is it such a "no-no' to ask people to pitch in? Would you rather have a membership fee like other sites?

As for the monopolies, if you want to be a vendor, you must do one of two things; pay the fee and remain reputable. If you do not do those two things, you cannot be a vendor. Both members you mentioned had those opportunities and did not come through. Before the secondary argument is made, there is a big difference between for-profit sales and hobbyist selling excess fish. Both persons you mentioned, were doing sales for profit.
:iagree:

TB you are waisting your breath (fingers as it may be). But just for the record, MN was a legitimate vendor here up till a month or so ago. And then it was yanked.

This site being free is great, I would have never joined if a fee was needed to become member. I think alot of other people also would not have joined. If people are making money off of this site there should be fee charged to them. If you are here selling day in and day out, some kind of charge should be charged for MFK bills.

havent seen him on the other site lately either. im sure he will chime in, hes prob just been busy. it happens to everyone...

That is not what I am talking about as far as rule changes. I am for vendors paying as they are making money directly from using the site. I understand this, I know that both of these members were asking people what they thought about some rays trying to decide what people are interested in and the threads were closed down without any reason posted or sent to them. It wasnt closed it was just shut down. This was before they lost thier vendor status.

But sorry for the derail, im sure RDK will get back to u.

I would hold making assumptions until you know the whole story.

I have been a member here for awhile now and I really enjoy this web site, I am here almost everyday, The knowledge that I have gained from coming here is incredible the astonishing thing is it doesn't cost a dime.

I can't imagine why a vendor would have a problem droping some cash to be able to sell here it would be a sound investment, this site is full of die hard fish crazy People ( I am one of them too!) and could actually claim the money spent as a taxright it would be a bussiness expense wouldn't it ?

Anyway as my dad always told me there are two sides to every story and never just AssUme anything.

P.S I really hope everyone gets their fish or their money back

Obvisouly you dont have all the info neither
While i am very reputable with my preorders and my orders,i have done everythig correct as far as mfk.I paid my first month and was going to pay the second month,and i saw what this site was allowing mike to do to another person on here,I asked about letting him do that ,because anyone else would have done that they would have had the thread closed ,deleated and they would have been punished for it.But he is allowed to do so in his own words { i should get special privelegde because i have put more money into this site compared to anyone else }
As soon as i asked that i was told my being a vendor on here is done.
Now they can say its because i payed late but we all know the truth.
As soon as i started offering black rays and hybrids,i have had my threads closed and things deleted of them.Just because mike cant deal with compitition. He's done it to other people on here too.People who have been on here long enough know that.
And if its about being reputable there is one person on here that has continuelly sent out the wrong stuff to people claming they are something there not,and he knows who he is.

DONE! Feel free to start another thread but if it gets derailed again it gets closed. NOBODY except a very few people know BOTH sides of the story. Unless you've talked to ALL parties involved, which very few have feel free to AssUme more than you really know...
