Ony the tank is new The canister filter use to run in 2ft tank but before transferring i wash everything inside of it and changed the media

Oh ok now that explains everything the aquarium is still cycling. In the future keep your bio media moist and alive. That will help jumpstart your cycle.

I was going to say if you know anyone or have a lfs nearby you can ask for some established media or an old sponge filter squeeze the gunk out of it in your tank and it will jump start the cycle and help the process

Yeah, cleaning out the filter and changing the media killed all the beneficial bactetoa. You're going to have to wait for the cycle to restart. You can try using those products that contain live bacteria to help reseed the beneficial bacteria.

In the meantime, you need to be testing daily and water changing to keep amkojua down along with using Prime. Prime detoxifies ammonia for 24-48 hours and the bacteria can still use the detoxified form to feed on. This will help keep the fish safe but will allow bacteria to grow. You have to test to make sure ammonia levels are not going higher than the amount that can be done to we detoxified for prime.

Also, by testing, you can tell when the tank is cycled and prime is no longer necessary.
