Reducing Aggression

Anything that adds a lot of movement and action will work. I just suggest tinfoils and sd because anyone can run to petsmart and grab a few. Ime tinfoils last the longest. They can really take a beating.

This might work, but some cichlids will only focus on one fish no matter what other fish you have in the tank.
My male deppi will only try to kill my female robertsoni and ignore any other cichlid in the 150g. I had to remove the deppi.
It's a hit or miss I guess...
Non-cichlid target/dithers have never worked for me.

From what I've seen more than one male salvini are pretty harsh to each other. Seems like they would all be fighting over the poor female sal lol. Might try something else to distract the snook. Large silver dollars might work and are about the same price as salvini. Just a though :)

Yeah there is no way to really change or reduce aggression in a certain fish. People always say aggression is on the individual fish, and some individuals won't tolerate any other fish. Sometimes you just have to find a combo that works or keep a fish solitary. Some sp. are even better kept in groups vs. mixing w/ other sp.
