you are a dedicated fish keeper to dedicate the time, money, and effort to a damselfish that kills everything you put with it. Sounds like he needs to be a loner, but I would take him back. Maybe add some hermit crabs or something so that you can look at something else in there.

you have a sump? transfer him into the sump and put friendlier fish in the main tank. I have a neon velvet damsel living happily solo in my sump.
