Alright, I've had this reedfish for 2-3 weeks now. It hasn't eaten a single bit of tilapia. It's only eaten once, when I caved and got it some of the blackworms it was eating at the LFS.
Should I be worried yet?

try some frozen bloodworms or hikari carnivore pellets. Its not uncommon for bichirs (and presumably reed/ropefish as well) to go on hunger strikes or be stubborn with certain foods. I've tried tilapia a couple times now and only 2 of my 3 polys have gone after it. Here's a good write up by dbcb314 for you to check out:

good luck, and congrats on the pickup

Alright, it actually ate tilapia today! It took it about 2-3 weeks of not eating (with one small feeding of blackworms thrown in) before it caved.
