alright, well he/she came in...laying on its side in the bag, the bag being..maybe 60 degrees...if that. anyways i acclimated it (drip method ) for 3 hours, put it in my qt tank and now all it has done is wedge itself in between two rocks sit/lay there for about 3 more hours...

any idea on this behavior?

p.s. i will post a pick of this in a couple of hours..

kind of difficult to see but he is wedge agaisnt two rocks, still follows me with his eyes when i lean up against the tank...

Mines hid for three days and took a week to eat It is there normal behavior to wedge and hide they wedge themselves everynight to "sleep"
He'll be fine!!
In no time he'll be "wizzing" around the tank chaseing the food you put in and will eat ANYTHING you feed. Mines is a pig!!

I was was soo freaked out I was thinking mine wasn't gonna make it..
They do this when stressed (the new tank and the move..)
I'm VERY proud of you to drip him as long as you did..A lot of people don't understand the importance of this....
If you continue this habit you will have nothing but good luck with your new livestock...

If yours already came out for a few mins... Your good..
Soon he will be out the entire day when the lights are on!
