Reef Shark

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If you look in the article section, there is a thread showing a bloke building a 1700G DIY Plywood tank. It housed a small (2ft+) shark. Not sure if it was a reef shark.

There is a 2.5ft wobbegong shark in a 6x2x2 tank at my LFS.

And who is this ewurm entity that is oft quoted? Is he an oceanic poet, or, perhaps he is a philosopher of streams?

He is a purveyor of deletion and bans! :D And loaches.

That wobegong sounds really cool!!! How much are they asking for it?

Hmm. I think I will just think about your reply for a while before saying more than the following. In my brief experiences with fish officianados I have come to the conclusion that they are unpredictable. They fascinate me, as do, generally speaking, persons who have knowledge that I wish to have. So I shall behave in ways fitting for the goal at hand. Or, if I were to be restricted from this joint, who would I speak with about ATFs. P.S. I use the word joint not in a derogatory way; in my mind, sometimes, I am a cowboy; and when I enter this address I enter a saloon. I order drinks and get wasted until I vomit AFTs allover the whore--what's her name I'll say in two months--and the door on the way out each time.

It is nice to meet you ewurm. Is this your place? It is a fine establishment; I'm fascinated with it all, overwhelmed too. I would like to hang out for a while if you don't mind. I'm just an attention junkie at times, rebellious and an obsessive compulsive. I like muscle cars, dangerous exotic and illegal animals, assault rifles, women, philosophy and contemporary mixed-media conceptual art. Forgive the bad jokes, poor analogies, and especially the repulsive posts. I cannot always refrain from misusing the English language; I think I can hardly spell.

Its not for sale. Its just in a 'show' tank consisting on an ever changing stock. Right now it has a Zebra Eel, Blue Ribbon Eel, 2 Foxface's, 1 Cleaner Wrasse and the Wobbegong. The tank has just plain white sand and fake logs and plastic plants for decor. I'd imagine it'd go for a nice price of $700, if not more. The shark that is.

For me, the next step in fishkeeping is building a sump and buying a pond to house a shoal of atfs. The step after that is breeding the atfs and buying a boat to use in fishing for sharks to house in my second pond. The third step is...?

Very well sir! You will find the site is very useful for finding information about the predatory fishes. Do you really have a large pond full of ATF's? Welcome to the site.
