Regani pike

not sure if I spelled it right sorry if I did, had a few questions about Regani pike saw them at one of my LFS a pair for 40$ I think is that a good price and are they aggressive? thanks

Mostly aggressive to their own kind. Most peaceful of the dwarf pike cichlids.

Small fish may become a meal but should tolerate gentle tankmates of similar size.

like kno4te said, pretty much only aggro against conspecifics and small fishes. i'd pay 40 for a pair, they are a fun fish. i keep mine with geos and they pretty much ignore each other, they only get pushy if they are trying to spawn.

If they are the Tapajos race, they seem to be more aggressive than the 'classic' regani towards either other from what I've seen.
