There are also 2 other variants, based upon location.
The top picture is a Chariel ('Laguna Chairel, Mexico') , the 2nd a Lahillas ('Lago Lahillas, Mexico').

The rest are my Lahillas Pair...8 inches. The flash blows their colors out, but they are pretty much solid black covered with sky blue to royal blue spots. Not as "glittery" as the chariel, escondido or standard carpintis.
