After letting things cool down a bit I netted the PBB and put it back in the bag to float... now it's safely in QT but I'm definitely going to weight down that lid!

I leave them in the box in the bag and add a cup of water every few minutes to equalize temp.

Good idea for next time... because there's always a next time! :confused:

PBB is no worse for the wear, already ate about 15 hikari carnivore pellets after less than an hour in QT... so I'm thinking this fella is going to be a beast!
