I looked at the jacks, they should be fine. Nice job on the tank stand (having a metal stand was one of my best decision in setting this up). I'd love to have a drip/drain system just not ready do any floor cutting yet.

Thank you. Our drain and returns are 2 small holes drilled in an exterior wall. 1/4 quick connects are connected to a meter I hunted down. I purchase inexpensive carbon filters for ice makers that use 1/4'' quick connects and tie them in outside near the hose so the water is free of chlorine.
We hit a few snags.
My husband cant dig under the house it's just too much for him so he bought 12''x12'' metal squares to put under the jack stands and plans to go under and adjust them after settling.
There is ac ducting right in the middle of where the tank will be so my husband setup the two 10 foot metal beams we purchased on one side of the ducting with 4 jack stands rated at approx 10,000 pounds each and he will setup 2 more beams and 4 more jack stands on the other side of the ducting next week, after I order the extra jack stands. The wall that runs parallel to the tank, only 3 inches away, is an all-concrete load-bearing wall. It's holding up all of the 6x2'' beams that run the width of the room every 16", perpendicular to the load bearing wall.
I rented a uhaul today and we pick up the tank tomorrow morning.

Below is the link where I purchased it. I buy a 1/4quick connect carbon filter for ice makers and attach it outside to the water line flowing in so I don't have to worry about chlorine and heavy metals coming into the tank. I also included a link below to the carbon filter that fits.
I meter the water coming into the tank between 3-8gph then I keep the drain, which is now above the line of the pump, open fully so the sump never overflows from too much water and never runs dry due to the drain hole being near the bottom.
If you attempt to regulate both incoming and outgoing water perfectly you will be sadly disapponted. It's too inacurate and proned to overflowing the sump.

Thank you. We are moving a couple of the koi over to the 480.
In my experience great filtration and lots of fresh water are most important to keeping koi happy and healthy.
I'm not a big fan of ponds. They are many times overstocked, there's a chance of them contracting outside diseases, being attacked or eated by predators. We have lots of coons in our area.

Sorry if I made it sounds like it's human error. It's the meter that cannot stay consistent. If you regulate both incoming and outgoing flow the numbers never match up. You can get the inflow and outflow perfect for a few days despite the numbers not matching up but it always goes off in a bad way all of a sudden and you end up with a flood or everything drained out. I have read reviews and all small gph meters are like this.
I would say it's water pressure PSI fluctuations but I bought a regulator and it still has the same problems.
