Related to batman rays? GRAPHIC IMAGE INSIDE

I gathered that it was , there are some rays that dont fully go batman and i think this is an example

Then do you think a perfectly normal ray would have cartillage in the front area as well?

All freshwater rays cartillage is not conected in the front of the head. they meet, but are not conected. I believe the reason for batman rays is because the flesh did not fuse together where the cartledge meet.
At least this is what i can gather from seeing stingray x-rays.

This one doesnt meet at all, and from when it was still alive, it looks like a perfectly normal stingray with a flawlessly round disc. The cartillage does not meet at all, as you can see in the picture, the space is in between is pretty big.
