Related to Jag?

there is not much talk of it but from what i have heard there have been people who have crossed the 2. They are closely related, it's not that hard to believe
Yeah. The ones I've seen pics of have the body and lower jaw structure of the Jag as well as the dominant markings. but they have a very bluegreen color like how the dovii have.
There are 5 species in the genus Parachromis. P.managuensis and P.dovii being two of them.
P.friedrichsthalii, P.loisellei and P.motaguensis are the other three species. The last three species average aroung a foot in length. P.managuensis and P.dovii can get much larger. I have had P.managuensis, dovii and loiselli. None of these fish were very mean. In my experiance, they all had temperaments like Oscars.
