the channels at best are going to hit maybe 30". eventually the rtcs will make a meal of them.

I think the RTC can be a lot more territorial than the CC, so watch out for that.

Highly probable that the RTCs will rule the pond....all things considered, even feeding well cannot quell natural instinct.

Plus, catfish are greedy, greedy, greedy. I've had oil catfish eat what must have been at least a fifth of their body weight, and they're just tiny little things. Willing to bet a redtail cat would gulp down several full-sized channels and a bass if it wanted to.
I'd be concerned about the redtail swallowing a channel cat and getting the channel's pectoral spines wedged into its throat. Might end up with a dead redtail.

eat the channel if you havnt used meds and discard the rest to the RTC (cut off the fins)
