Relocating my Green Terror to a new aquarium

Thanks :D i guess i will do this then! However i have a small doubt, when you say clean off the running filter in the new tank you mean squeeze the sponge of the old filter in the new tank water right? i am sure that will dirty the water and transfer the beneficial bacteria however do i need to completely squeeze it or just one or two times and should the fish be already in? or after i squeeze i will let the new filter to run and then transfer the fish ?

Squeeze out the sponge and if you have a sack of bio max or other media you can put it in a run it between your hands shaking it around. Have the new filter up and running before you do that. So you ensure the old bb getting into the new filter.

A lot of people may not prefer to do this but clean off your old media from the running filter in the new tank and water. This will visibly dirty the water but when the dust settles your new filter will be seeded. I've done this myself a dozen times. It works flawlessly.

Done thanks . I will just sum up the procedure :
1. Set up the new tank, add water and start the new filter.
2. Clean the old filter sponge by squeezing it in the new water and add bio max.
3. Let the BB get transferred to the new water and get mixed with the new filtration. I guess i will run the new filter for 2 hours in the empty tank.
4. Release the fish into the new tank.
