There aren't many jobs that deserve to be paid good ,but firefighting is certainly one of them! What these guys go through to help other people often is immense, firefighters have my respect for sure
Stay safe guys.

I'd actually say there are a lot of jobs that deserve to pay well. My wife worked as a cashier at one time and I don't think I could be paid enough to do that kind of job. It's amazing how mean and rude people can be to customer service workers.

Guys, sorry if I offended you but seriously I expected you two to have thicker skin than most... To the world, its a joke, I don't think a caveman could be a modern fireman. It takes real skill, training, a good head on your shoulders and a serious set of kahoenays...

I was in the CG, I did SAR, LE and everything inbetween, it takes a special person to you put your own life on the line for someone else, but feel free to call me a puddle pirate or whatever else you want...

I've never heard anyone suggest teachers were overpaid either. I've always heard they were underpaid. I'm confused as to if the comments about being overpaid are being brought up just to give an excuse to say what people do is worth what they get paid.

Was making a joke. Teachers say they are underpaid and with what I have seen I would agree. The amount they deal with it can be ridiculous. The media portrays them as fat cats because they get summer off and other things. It was a hot topic like a year ago.

the only hot topic ive seen with teacher is all these hot chick teachers dating their teen students! sorry for the derail.
