Remember Stumpy?

Here's an update on Stumpy! For those of you who don't remember/ never met stumpy, here's the story. A while back, I bought this poor little guy at a Petco:

Well, after some recovery time, and me finding my camera's charger (took a few months oops), this is how Stumpy turned out.

He hates the camera, that's why he looks stressed.

Here's Stumpy racing against Marbles for some market shrimp. He's actually my biggest angel, now. He likes to let the other fish think they can beat him to the food, and then he goes turbo lol. If you look closely, you can see he has some damage to his fins still, particularly to the long fins, but considering what he looked like before....

Aw, shucks. Any of you would have done the same. I babied him ridiculously, though, and now he's a terrible brat. He has me wrapped around his little... uh, fin, I guess.

Oh, I forgot to ask, but I was wondering if with time his fins will fuse together properly if you think they'll stay split like that. I don't think it bothers him (or her?) but I'm just wondering.

Great rehab job!!! His (or hers) fins will always stay split like that (if you're referring to the two long extensions in his anal fin and the split extensions in his pelvic fins. In fact, they're not damaged at all. It's a pretty normal thing to see on angelfish.
