its only gonna have a max of three fish. get 2 very young fahaka puffers and let them grow up together so maybe aggression will be minimal... and then have a pleco thats bigger than them at first so they should learn to leave it alone.

i take it you have ZERO experience with fahaka's, good way to end up with 2 dead fish.

How about zero? Puffers are not good starting fish. And what other two fish will you have with a fahaka? Danios?

oscars, polypterous, african cichlids, south american cichlids, piranha, many catfish, most any fish you can find at an LFS in the main tanks in fact.

Just dont pick something specialized until you have more experience. I would suggest you go with some oscars. They are hardy, have loads of personality, inexpensive, aggressive, smart, great fish to learn how to maintain a true monster tank with.

how about a mix of archers scats monos a columbian shark or two and maybe some jade sleeper gobies

you could...brackish really limits what you can get though and IMO it would be a pain to mix salt for every water change but still not get to keep marine fish.

As long as you understand that they are brackish, and you are willing to do the work and spend the money.
