I quess the old saying that if you rescue an animal they shall give you back their love over and over.. rings through..because i am sure all that has been involved in making him healthy again must feel so good inside.. doing good is a great feeling..
That is going to be one of the most loving dogs ever. That lucky dog will soon have some very lucky owners. It will always associate people with good results since it was abandoned at such a young age (which was absolutely terrible). Tell sis good job!

Has she thought about working with/submitting this story to animal planet?

Wow good job. And he's really a beautiful dog now..

thank you Levi.. i will ask her that very question about animal planet.. this guy certainly qualifies for being a remarkable story of a rescue..but knowing my sister and the rest of the people who help these animals.. the only reconization they want.. is for someone good to adopt them when they are able to go to a new home.. but i can ask her if i can submit it.. ?

Liz I've been out of the loop...when you emailed me that update picture I didn't know the whole story. That is quite and improvement, but wow, he still has a long way to go. I'm sure his body had to cannibalize his muscle tissue to survive being that thin and his heart must have been so weak. I can't imagine his organs didn't shut down completely. He is a very lucky dog to have been found and rescued!!

i know this dog came as close to death as he possibly could and lived.. but yes a long way to go yet...it is almost unbearable to look at his first pics.. because what kept him on his feet????? How did he ever have the strenght to take another step...

It's a miracle...I bet he is the most appreciative dog imaginable. I know my rescue hound is....and he didn't have it a fraction as bad as this poor guy.

aaahhh thats really sad :( people that do that should just be chucked in to the everglades and see how they like it...or how many limbs they come out with :D
