pave crete the walls...they will just as smooth as regular walls...problem solved my parents home is solid concrete. after u pave crete u just paint and u cant tell the difference

Best bet for you would be to hire it done.
what part of indiana do you live in I might know someone that'll do it dirt cheap by you.

Im from fort wayne. How do you get the studs to stay on the concrete wall?

or you can take tapcons and screw them into the floor on your bottom 2x4

Well by using studds you also can put insulation in the wall making the temp more stable
