Ok iam ok with the fact you counted to 10..20..100 ... the shark was hatched from an egg in the 200g... there is additional information to inform you of because you asked what the shark was housed in at present in which i replied about its current tank (which is also not tall/deep enough for the bat fish either) ..you can stpo counting now....my new house is currently being built aprox 45 days from completion with a coustom built tank of 10 x 6 x 4 @ just under 1,800g ..tank is actually in place waitning on sump and plumming..also waiting on trim carpenter and landscasping and final county inspection to be able to move to the new tank..soryy for the rise in your blood presure and the lack of future info on my part

OK - first off a 7' x 2' x 2' tank would technically be a 210 gallon.
That said - I've got to agree with Emi.
It's WAY too small for a 2' of the Brown Banded Bamboo (aka Banded Cat Shark). That's almost a bad a seeing a 36" long Brown Banded Bamboo in a 300 gallon tank. Not good at all.
BTW, Emi - I take you mean 6 ft wide x 10 ft long - instead of inches.
Although a round pond with a Diameter of 8 ft. or more would also work really well.

If the experts out there (which iam not or i would not be asking questions) think that it is harmfull to house my shark in a 7 x 2 x 2 tank for about 45 more days until her new tank and my new house is ready then i donot have a problem with buying a 8 to 10 foot circular stock tank/swimming pool for a temp home as i dont care what it looks like since it would be a temp situation...
Oh gosh, lol. Well, let me be honest, the professional in me says that yes, a round, larger holding would be optimal while waiting for completion of your new holding. However, the practical (and objective) side of me wants to say that purchasing an additional pool, setting that up, transferring filters, transporting, and re-acclimating the animals would seem a bit extensive for a 45 day stay.agreeive?fish;1913507; said:
