Removing convict fry

Man.. I love cons, try selling your cons on craigslist... I mean... if they have 30 fry and you sell for a 1$ each.. or get another firemouth... although with your luck they would breed too

I also now the guy that works at Petco, and no LFS around me has cons. Maybe they will take some and give me store credit, and the firemouth will take care of the rest. I don't think I will be getting another firemouth; they're too skittish for my liking. It's been over a month and he still hides from me. But I was thinking about getting a pink con male to be housed with him?

Just a note: I took notice that 1 of the month old convict fry that I placed in the 6.6 gallon grow out with my betta is bullying my betta! He actually chases the other 2 fry as well. I plan to re-home them in my 20 long as soon as I can sex them.

Get six feet of air tubing.........Siphon the fry out into another tank........Air tubing, the tube diameter used to hook up to air pumps..........

Good idea. But I left them with their parents for a while, then simply netted them out.
