Removing cornerflow?

I understand the overflowing, but that's just getting it adjusted right. Meaning don't overfill it and make sure you shut the system down to test the water level with it off. As far as pump going dry that's just making sure you never let it run that low. Noise.... I sleep like a baby listening to the water flowing (better than rain on a tin roof). Just hate to see you not use it since you have it already.

i have this exact tank,i capped the bulkheads off with pvc caps until I can get another tank for a sump.

You all make valid points. My fears are overflowing the sump and running dry the pump. Noise is a factor as well. That's why I was looking to just remove everything.

If setup correctly none of those should be issues.
