Hi!
My mate recently gave me two Spiny Tail Freshwater Crayfish, unfortunetly, they have a slight parasitic problem, i believe they are tiny leeches and anchor worms, could anyone please tell me how to remove the hundreds of little parasites from my Crays,
Also, Keep in mind, my Female is berried (with eggs) so any remedie should be safe on the eggs please!

Keep in mind, some leeches and small worms that appear parasitic are actually normal for the crayfish and have a beneficial relationship. You'll need to post pictures, because action may or may not be required. If action is required, I think there's a few medications that should be mild enough not to cause harm to the berry.

Tricky one.
Seeing as those are also inverts.

I thought you meant the typical cray stowaways. Those worms that stay connected at one end and look like inchworms.

unfortunetly, he has those too, these ones also stay connected at one end and sway around aimlessly, just on a larger scale and the stretch to be quite thin while submerged

Prazipro maybe for the worms. I had an issue with some parasitic worms (unknown species) and that took care of them pretty good. The other things, I have no idea what they are or how to get rid of them if they're inverts, too. You could try posting to crayfishmates.com and make a post directed to a member named "crusty". I've never seen a crayfish related problem he couldn't fix.

Thank you!
much appreciated, My female is having what can only be described as a fit at the moment, shes roling around with her tail stiffened up im not sure whats wrong with her
