removing rim from 120g all-glass

I know what you mean!. I guess glass that thick is pretty resilient. What did you replace your trim with?

I called Perfecto and got the part # for a new top frame. I had to have a LFS order it for me though. The guy didn't mark it up much,, it was only like $30.
 
i called the lfs here and the priced it at just over $30 a piece for the top and the bottom. i got the aquarium stripped down and ready for it to go on. to bad they didn't have it in stock. the bottom only took 15 minutes to get off. after another hour with a razor blade i had the whole thing cleaned up and ready to go. there was a sticker on the inside of the trim from all-glass that was dated 1993.

That's just about how old mine is too. LOL I guess that's the life expectancy of the plastic frames???
