Well they made a product , and when you make a product you have to have something called customer care. Say you just bought it , and it doesnt work properly. I called 2 times and left a message before they got back to me. People who put forth effort usally will recieve.
Yes they did make the product, they also provide a two year warranty from date of purchase when you buy it new. You can't expect a company to warrant parts that can wear out for the life of the filter

They dont ask for any information either. I mean its worth a try , it worked out for me. I advise calling any company that your product breaks. They are multi million dollar companies. Say something breaks and its out of warranty , but they replace it anyways , when you need another who are you going to buy from? Its all a marketing stratagey that if you play the game better than others you can benifet from. Just dont be lazy and give them a call!
