ok... so i unlatched one side and lifted it up and it started working. but now it will only work for a minute and stop. i have to stop it and start all over it works for a minute maybe two and stops. suggestions?

This is another common sense thing but also make sure the cap you take off to fill when priming is tight...I've had problems with flow and that was the culprit.

What media do you have in the very top basket, middle and bottom baskets?

Make sure you don't have any loops or kinks in your lines, especially the intake line. Also, it may sound silly, but make sure your lines are clear...in other words, nothing is stuck inside.

I know what you're going through, but it's worth it once it finally takes off!

is this a poris sponge will water flow through easily? Could it be blocking water flow?

Just a thought you could try running the filter without media, this would tell if the media setup is clogging the filter or not.
