I have a 55 gallon with 2 busted sides. A large pane and a small pane. I'm not quiet sure on how to take a tank apart without busting the rest. So I've got this idea {question}. Can I cut 2 pcs of plywood. Say 1/2 inch or 5/8 to size. Fiberglass it or epoxy it. And put it in place of the 2 busted pcs of glass? Of coarse silicone all those edges and corners good. That's also leaving the frame. Using it as support still. I don't see why it wouldn't but never know
replacing broken glass with wood?

Well the wood is free. The silicone is free. enought fiberglass resin for that would be cheap. So yeah I guess it would be an extra tank is an extra tank
