What about the exodons do you like? Is it the swarming, piranha-like behavior? Hard to find a fish that will do that BESIDES exodons. Keep in mind they will have to be species only, 8-10 fish in a 55 to 75 gallon tank.

If you want a predator in general, then your options will increase based of course on tank size and availability in your state.

Hiding, stalking fish with snatching strike?
Look at wolf fish (ranging from rainbow wolf 10" max to hoplias aimara 30")

Open water, high speed strike?
Look at gars, pike characin, african tiger.

Mid-water, gulping strike?
Datnoid, piscivorous cichlid like parachromis sp. and arowanas. Also there are catfish that do this.

Ok so I just got a 75 gallon tank. I do not mind spending a lot! I want to get the best filters/light fake or live plants etc! I want to make sure everything is perfect it is my first tank! And when I say similar to Exodons i am talking about how they stay as a group and just go at things as a group i think it is very interesting to watch! Exodons are also just fine I just do not know much about them!

I don't think any other well-toothed fish swarm like exodons... I mean rainbowfish eat aggressively but exodons are great little shredders... In fact if you have good filtration you can maybe put 15-18 or more in there. Consider a canister filter to give them some water flow and to handle the bioload. Use a dark background and dark substrate will make them pop. Put a few pieces of driftwood and tall plants like crypt or vallisneria for them to swim through. Also you can put floating plants like Amazon frogbit to subdue the lighting. Have open space in the middle. Put up pics and vids soon!
