Milky Way Galaxy,
Got some test i need to study for till Friday will bananas till Friday be fine? Forgot i was running low o food. Maybe a mix of bread? I know a constant feed of bread is bad but just like for us to much of one thing is bad.

I think banana s have a,lot of phosphorus, which can be bad in excess to reptiles(a improper calcium to phosphorus ratio can lead to MBD) A couple pieces shouldn't hurt anything. But I wouldn't make it a big part of his diet

Fruits should be a treat only and less than 10% of the diet. if you have salad greens, those would be much healthier, and shrimp or unseasoned fish fillets.

Seeing as RES eat just about anything I can't believe you have nothing else to give it but bananas and bread until friday. Heck, even dog or cat food (dry) would be better for the turtle. Salad mix or even dandelion greens and flowers (if you are sure they haven't been sprayed or treated with anything) would be a lot better to feed than fruit. What about digging up some earthworms?

Have you considered starting a small marble crayfish breeding tank, or even a snail breeding tank? Then you never run out of food. My RES would even eat MTS, which can't help but breed, LOL!

Seeing as RES eat just about anything...
Omg no kidding! We call our a serial killer as he'll devour ANYTHING I put in his tub! Some grocery stores will carry dandelion greens too. That's where I got the ones I'm currently feeding my rabbits and my RES. Bread isn't a good dietary staple for anyone.

Your turtle can go weeks without food and still be healthy. Dont worry about it and just feed him when you get the proper food on friday.

I ate everything in the house if my mom brings back any of that soon I'll give It to the turtles. If not then I'll just feed them Friday.
