Very nice, not many people put in that much effort for a 10gal. Great job.

Seeing as its only a 10, I personaly would put a bunch of different colour fantail guppies in there. Bright colours (help highlight the natural colours of the plants) and lots of movement to keep your eyes wandering around the tank.
thanks for your kind words and stockin sugestion, and i do agree with you i see tons of bare bottm 10 gal tanks with a tube of pvc as decor. i try to make my tanks look natural and apealin

Love the mix of reds and greens in the tank...

Maybe you could stock it with 3 dwarf puffers, a few cherry res shrimp an maybe an otto or two

My 2 cents: Add carbon, once the water is clear, remove the carbon. The tannins will keep coming. Personally I disagree that they "look great". A brown tint to your water doesn't look good unless you're trying to recreate a naturally-tannic environment (e.g. parts of the Amazon, cypress swamps, etc...). Alternatively a spring-fed environment could be crystal clear. Even parts of the amazon have clear water. Just read a book by one of the early collectors of wild discus and you'll find that they come from a variety of environments.

But I agree that continuous use of carbon in a tank is bad. It can deplete important micronutrients and some believe it can cause lateral line erosion, aka "hole in the head" disease. My personal experience has made me a believer, particularly regarding saltwater angels and tangs.

Actually with those tannins, a couple of neon tetras could look pretty good too...

Nice tank, I would do this...
1 dwarf groumi
3-4 black widow tetras
3-4 bloodfin tetras

Nice natrual decor:thumbsup: I would ndo carborn though, it will make the yellow tint from the driftwood go away and make it look even better...

Looking good! I'd be wary of those pea puffers though. They LOVE to eat guppy tails. IME they never eat a significant portion of the tails though. Just a couple of bites out of each. They like to pick at snails too.

I like your tank you did a nice job with it.

The guppies would be fun to watch and you could probably fit a few more of them in than if you got dps but they aren't as smart and personable.
If you did get dwarf puffers I suggest trying to get them at an age where they can sexed. Two females will probably be fine in there for life, Two males = big trouble, and 1 male and 1 female could put a lot of stress on the female once the male hits sexual maturity and becomes more aggressive.

Ps I hope you get the puffers.
