if the biggest u can get is around 50 gal, i would deff get the 50 breeder tank thats 18" wide.

as mentioned, i know the tank is small, im working on a military mans budget more to come on that. I'm having a hard time getting him to eat any suggestions?

as long as your feeding live and the tank doesn't have any ammonia or nitrite, then just keep some feeders in the tank and all will be ok.

The only reason i can think of that he might not be eating is because he doesn't have the room to chase them. To be able to catch anything. If he can't turn around in the tank the feeders may be staying behind him.

tats can take a few to start eating even in a large tank.
