anyone for-see something bad happening here lol? I am still just in a state of shock at the size of the jag lol

Yes, I do Kevin. I forsee you having it served up for your lunch. Cooked of course. I hear it tastes better than Tilapia.:ROFL::ROFL:
No, really Kevin on the serious side, why not leave the fish originally in 125, in the 125; set your 240 up for your rescues or is that a doable thing right now?

I am working on it, but will not be anytime this week or anything. The holidays and the wife getting sick have set me back even further. Right now I have it all cleaned out, but just sitting in the garage. I still have to seal the holes on the bottom used for plumbing. Drill new holes for plumbing, Acquire filtration, build a stand, ect ect....

No worries buddy, he is still always the first in line at feeding time. The Jag really only likes chasing the Midas around. Think this was the case wherever they were before.

Hey, man. I thought florida gars were illegal in AZ?

Nice Jag ... let's hope he doesn't spaz out and kill everything in the tank.

Lucky you to have such nice fish dropped off. The nice midas in my avatar was actually a drop to my lfs. It had lived in a 90 w/ numerous other cichlids (until it killed them all) and a 2ft alligator gar. Funny how some people with no knowledge and lack of respect end up with nice fish. My wife actually liked your jag, but hates our juvie for some reason. Personally, once you get that new tank set up, the gar would be the first thing to go in there. That would allow for a lot of extra turning room for him as he should have no problem reaching 18" and they turn just about like a battleship.

another better pic of the midas, someone might be picking this guy up for $10 haha. I just wanted him to go to a good home so I posted a cannot refuse price.
