The pH of the water is 5?! Serious? This may not be good...time to put some crush coral sand in there or dead coral. Either this fish is seriously beat up, or it is a low quality Blue ZZ.
WAS 5 that was his water not mine i would never let my water get like that this guy just wanted them gone and hadnt bothered with them for a long time they are both lucky to be alive imo and he is covered in scars down both his sides but im keeping a close eye on them just to make sure its not the female beating him up
and thanks to everyone for all your comments ill post more pics in a week or so to show how they are getting on
Great looking flowerhorns Greg. That male will get his colours back when he's not stressed. The same happened to Laura's flowerhorn when her v. regani was giving it a hard time.
