hey guys....just a lil update....my arapaima died yesterday...he jumped out of the pond...by the time my maid found him..he was still breathing but very weak so he didnt make it through the night...wat upsets me is that **** like this only happens when im back in australia...really pisses me off....well anyways, for better or worse, this is the end of my arapaima journey....i wouldnt dream of buying another one knowing their true size and grace...it wouldnt be fair to them.

Bro, mind to update pics of ur pond instead of just the tank? More interested with the big fishes in pond....:) Sorry to hear the news of ur dead arapima, may it rest in peace..
 
thanks for ure support guys but im actually in perth atm in uni...but im coming back around mid april so u wont have to wait too long...ummm all my fish r in my pond now btw....my tank only has ONE alligator snapping turtle now :p thats y my fish r growing so quickly! :)
 
man that lake is really wicked!!!!! man i'd wanna go fishing for those silver arowanas now!! lol but man im really sorry about your pima passing away...

I've got two pimas now, in a momentary tank of 1000 liters.
