Rescued fish!

Pick this little one up from my lfs, about 5 inches maybe a bit smaller, it's a fire mouth, poor thing was getting beat on like crazy. Still a bit timid but he or she is starting to come around, ill post better pics soon!

He will come around, just give him time. Maybe keep the lights off. He should do good with your JD, my firemouth and jd get along great.

Yeah they're doing ok, jd bullied him a bit but I added a danio for the jd to pick on and now they are fine

My firemouth will flare his gills to scare away any fish he feels is threatening him lol, its pretty funny.
