Rescued Fish?

only one special needs fish a striped Raphael with one eye
Rescued a big 10" + banded high fin shark from a fish store when the owner was gonna just let him die and throw him out. He was nice and gave me it for free so I brought the little guy home placed it in a big tub and sat around with it for hours looking up his condition and what I could do for him as I was new to fish keeping at the time. Turns out he had a very bad bacterial infection from a previous owner. Over the next weeks of being kept in a kiddy pool with me treating and keeping an eye on him constantly this little bugger made a recovery. To bad I didn't have a pond at the time so now he's in a friends pond down south. It's been a while since iv seen the little beast

I recently was given a one eyed hydro gar by the owner of a LFS for free. I was buying a datnoid and he asked if I would take the gar being that I had asked about the gar when I first walked in. It was in a tank with about three (4inch) P. Bass who I'm sure were the ones who took his eye out. 
It's nice to see so many people who rescued their fish from bad situations. Warrenda, your fish is absolutely GORGEOUS.
I saved a jack Dempsey from Lfs had bad fun rot and bad color not color but on head, has all color back and fins
Thank you paperlatern. I think it's now trying to court a black lace angel so that could be a pretty cool mix... We'll see what happens....
