Well hello people from the Internet! Me and my younger brother where walking around the local Indian fish shops in search of Ornate Bichir when this grubby tank and the bottom of the stands caught my eyes. I bent down to look at the large freshwater eels that where swimming inside, the tank's water was green the thick with feces. I couldn't even see the back of the tank. Huddled in a corner there were two small snakeheads each about 3' long. When I asked the shop keeper about them he said that there where only eels in the tank 
. I proceeded to tell him that there was something that looked a lot like a channa in the tank. When he would not listen a friend of mine fished the two out using a net. Bewildered, he said I could have both for 150rs (about 3 dollars). My brother, whose birthday was soon asked if I could get him the snakeheads. I said yes, and went home with both fish. 
What speices are they? are they going to fight to the death?
