Update. Yes he moves to a different spot day to day and covers up with sand again. Sometimes I get lots of activity and he'll move to another spot in the same day loL. There's not much to see here.

Not that I've seen. I put him in my guppy breeding tank for now, if he ate any guppies it wasn't enough of them to be noticeable. I've tried other things, he hasn't taken pellets, silversides, krill, market shrimp, or earthworms...he's being a picky little guy.
as long as he's feeling good to bury himself think its all in due time per peoples comments when he/she starts ambushing those guppies. Good save!
