I came home one day to find one of my African dwarf frogs, acting a whole lot like an African clawed frog. He had the other frog in the tank's head sticking out of his mouth. Swallowed the body first but couldn't quite manage to get him all down.
I figured either one or both were going to die and I couldn't imagine my hinderence would be a help. So I did what every teenage kid does at a moment like that. I bragged! I told my family to come and check it out. "Hey ma check it out! Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom right here in Northwest Jersey"
My mom didn't think twice.... She reached into the tank, caught the frog is a second, and pulled the only slightly smaller from out of it's mouth and moved the smaller frog to a smaller tank in her room.
Then she yelled at me for not doing anything for.... well she still does.
They both died by the way. The dwarf frog the next day. The Clawed from the day after that.
