I think those branches hanging down look fantastic. I am trying to do the simpliar thing but with an actual stump, luckily I dont live to far from a beaver pond, all kinds of nice wood there.

there is alot of current in the tank plus a current that runs between the two tanks...
The wodd is manzanita which cane from a friends floral shop they used to use alot of it but now use none the piece was one large pice but I cut it down I will post a pic pieces this large usually go for about $150-200 it was over 6' tall......
front porch is heated and insulated it was an addition but I have taken the door down between the house and porch plus there is two windows between the house and porch......
there is actually three different lights one is a vho (obvious which one) the others are cheap aquarium flourescents I am gonna make them all vho soon though.....

I feel it would be inappropriate for me to say 'nice wood'. How about good snag...

Why did you cut it??? Looked like a good excuse for a bigger tank...4x4x8ft tall. Now that's water pressure. :D

Great tanks, and I always overlook cloudy water...we know it'll get better.

Very natural looking, haven't seen wood like that before. You know...Christmas is coming up, wanna ship that on over my way?

I can get lots more of this wood but it is not cheap.. I am sorry to say that mine will probally not stay red for very long.. a few of my plecos are just feasting on the bark.. as for cutting it I have two more large pieces that I have to go and pick up... so its not a prob plus O can get more even bigger ones I am trying to get a whole tree minus the root ball.. to go into my huge tank when it is done...

Great tanks  and sweet fish ;)

The pleco that travels betweens tanks sure enjoys it!

Very nice,
