okay it comes with the filters and everything I just kind of thought it would be a pretty good deal. however he wants $250 for it to be delivered and I just cant see paying that much for a fish tank

what kind of filters and what is everything? i don't see paying more then 150 for an essentially broken 150 gallon with a stand but with the right equipment you may be looking at a good deal depending on the work you'd have to put into it.

lid. It comes with filter containers, filter and new filters. Big rocks for bottom. It is drilled in the back but has caps on it cuz the guy I bought it off of was using it for freshwater.

This is what he sent me Im going to email him back and ask him what brand the filters are

lol, glad you read my mind, i wanted to know what kind of filters too. Ask for dimensions too unless you're convinced that's a 150

heres a pic of the filter it looks like a marineland or something

For some areas this is a steal, I know up in MN a 75g tank with just a stand will run you $200+.

And is that the only filter he has for the tank?

not a great pic because it's so small but it does look like a penguin or emperor. So basically you shouldn't factor that into your purchase as you'd have to add additional filtration anyways.

As far as resealing goes, here's a basic 101 on how to reseal a small leak. For a large leak you'd have to take the whole tank apart

Its okay he wont deliver it for $200 and I have no way of picking it up with it being that far :(

a better deal will come along. i have a feeling he'll have to lower his price. people usually won't take on resealing projects unless it's a steal of a deal
