So i got a 46or 54 gallon bowfront not sure on size for $50 because the lady didnt wanna fix it so im resealing the whole tank. I have it ready to go with tpe and all and i wanna know if i seal it and put it outside will it dry ok because I'm in an apt and dont wanna leave it inside with the smell

The sealant you used should have all that info on the package or tube : what temperature to use it in, high and low ends. And also say about the humidity not being past a certain percent too.:nilly: You should really be using sealant out doors or else PLEASE have all your windows wide open with fans pulling the fumes out of your apartment. It can seriously mess up a persons physical and mental well being.:nilly:

i may seal it outside due to the smell then bring it into the room and let it sit with the window open overnight

Just seal it inside. I did with a windows open and no problem at all, the smell is not as bad as you think.

Its silicone not natural gas. Your overdoing it. Its not like he is going to smell the crap out of the silicone, the smell is not as strong as you might think. I used GE1 and it smelled like vinegar but i could only smell it when i was 4 ft near the tank.

if i do it in a bedroom it would probly be bad to sleep in the bedroom tonight so ill sleep in the living room

I did it in my living room. Just make sure not to get any on your hands, if you do remove it with paper towels b and your good but if it dries on your hands good luck. Took me an hour to get it off after a very thin layer dried on my hands.
