Yup and the xp3 cost me about 200$ at petsmart.

Would probably have to spend another 40 bucks on media if I were to go with ceramic rings again, another 20-40 bucks on sand. Overall though you just can't beat that.

I'm definitely gonna show it to the wife, but I'm probably also definitely gonna get shot down.


I think for now I'm gonna save up for an AC70 to add to the 65 while I'm overstocked. Eventually I'll be able to grab a 55 (or it might take as long as waiting for my 150-180 upgrade) and I'll already have the filter and can split my stock up a bit.

yeah.. i think im gonna grab an AC50 and replace one of my oldschool filters for now to get better oxygen flow.. and then ask for an AC 70 or AC 110 for christmas.. probably ask for the 70 and some more refills for the 50 hahaha

craigslist has some good deal i bougth (meaning parents im only 13) a 120 gallon with hoods and a stand for $ 225 but i have to wait till christams to set it up

woulda been a want, but like i said i'd have only got it if i coulda swung it for an early christmas present - however i compromised with myself and got an AC 50 to replace one of my older filters and will be asking for an AC 70 for christmas. rather than thinking about a new tank altogether im just gonna focus on upgrading my current tanks equipment. (all i really need is the ac70 and a new light for it and i'll be set)
