Resting betta

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They've been in there for a couple years with no problems
The tank has lots of driftwood and long upward pointing rocks that create plenty of slow/dead spots
And with it being a bow front with the filter all the way to the side the water moves in a weird current that dosnt seem to move the fish or plants around that much

I always had my bettas in tanks with regular filter current and bubble wands, and did the same as you with decorations and plants to create dead spots. Once a betta gets his muscles built up they can handle it just fine.
Mine used to love swimming in the bubble wand, and were quite good at it, so I don't think they get tired out that easily once they get used to being in a normal tank. They seem to like the exercise.
