$90 for a 29? Like I said, I paid $75 for a 75gal in perfect condition with lids and lights.

There is a difference between "fair price" and "steal" the price you got the $75.00 was a "steal", you won't find those deals all the time. Get used to it.

2 years ago I should a 40g setup that was only a couple months old for $80.00, it was still a steal.

i was looking in my local want ads some one was selling a 38 gal reef for 1500.00 does he think some one would pay that

it depends whos buying the stuff personally, if a fellow hobbyist wants the tank my price will lower alot. but if someone is just starting for the hell of it they too can pay a higher price for the stuff, as i did. i bought 4 tanks and stands brand new with all the crap that goes with it in the first year of fish keeping, alot of dough! i sold a complete 29g setup for 100$, alot for used but i paid bout 300$ for all the crap. also a complete 38g setup for 150$- 450$ new, both to new fishkeepers. in my eyes they got good deals to get their foot in the door. the next day i took that 250$ and bought a 125g setup from another hobbyist, not a smokin deal but good none the less. my price always starts high to see if i can get some of my investment back, but usually not. if you dont like the prices people ask, offer less or wait till a deal comes by.

I've got a 110G tank or so for $75 cause the home owners was moving and no way they could have removed it. Could have bargained more since no one else wanted it I am sure.

I've seen comparable tanks in the area go for about the same but snatched up...

Theres been a 120g tank for sale for 700 local here for 4+ years I talked to her a year ago she wouldnt budge on the price. No stand or lights.
A ugf overflows and a wetdry and a bunch of misc stuff.
Didnt seem to get that brand new and I left it in my garage unused for a decade arent the same thing.
Ive seen a few setups local that keep coming up for sale real high around here.I guess some of them get lucky and find a dope with cash sometimes

I'm only saying that in general, people are asking far too much for their tanks IMO.

Tacky? It is a public forum. I can say what I want, and you don't have to agree. I didn't slander anyone on this forum, however you just did. What I posted was my opinion on a general topic. Calling another forum member tacky. Is tacky.
umm cant u buy a brand new one 75 that is from that fish place for like 140 ..for that i would buy new guaranteed no leaks or scratches
