do some research first before you possibly create another that will need to be rescued.

will this be your first snake? or first herp in general?

Didn't know there were retic rescues, I didn't think they got dumped as often as the more common Burmese. I'd rescue a retic, but I'd have to get started cage-building...great snakes if you've got the experience to care for them properly.

all of the retics i have are rescues, they are very often bought by people that think they can handle them, one year later and ranging from 7 to 10 feet long the people change their mind.
